A love for photography was created in a dingy basement of an old Nun's convent. Sarah's group of high school friends created the punk scene in Almonte, Ontario in the 90s and when she picked up a disposable camera from the Petro Can, the cliched happened and the rest was history.

She got an internship at the local newspaper, giving her the excuse to spend Friday nights at the local youth center called The Vent, short for the convent, capturing it all on film and even earning herself and The Vent a spot in that year's yearbook.

The excitement of catching memories like fireflies lead to a degree in journalism and hosting and photographing the all ages LGBT club parties in Eastern Ontario, PUMP and Teaze. When they ended in 2009, Sarah made her home in Toronto. Working with the likes of IN Toronto Magazine, NOW Magazine, Xtra, Pride at Work and Pride Toronto.
